Save on parking at the airport

Parking at the airport is an expense that is often underestimated. Organizations have little insight into the costs of parking, and therefore rarely make use of the options for saving money. The standard - and expensive - parking facilities at airports are therefore the most obvious option, despite cheaper alternatives being available.

Parking facilities near airports

There are numerous larger and smaller organisations located in the areas around airports offering parking facilities in closed, secure locations. In most cases, parking there is cheaper than at the standard airport car parks, and free transport from the car park to the airport terminal is often provided. The possibilities vary, and a number of service providers are specialized in offering such parking solutions.

Valet parking for speed

Parking at an external location generally costs additional time. Most providers therefore offer the option of valet parking. This allows you to drive straight to the airport's departure hall. You then give the car keys to a driver of the parking facility who drives the car to the car park. Upon your return from your international corporate trip, your car will be waiting for you at the airport, so you can simply get in and drive home. Simple!

Centralized booking via Munckhof

Munckhof works in partnership with various service providers and can organize your parking for you. One advantage of this is that we can tailor the booking exactly to your flights. In addition, you are assured of a reserved parking space, you can make use of the valet parking option and you will pay less than you would do if you parked at the terminal.

Booking via a corporate travel agency is also wise for reporting purposes. Payment takes place through us and the costs are presented in a transparent manner in the management reports. Parking expenses at airports can be reduced significantly by making use of these smart options.

Other options for travel to the airport

Of course, another option is to avoid the parking issue altogether by travelling to the airport in a different way. For instance, you could use public transport or a taxi. For tips, read the blog by my colleague Bas de Smit on travelling to airports.
