Munckhof and RM Taxi Zwolle win social support transport contract in the municipality of Zwolle

Munckhof and RM Taxi Zwolle will take over the WMO (social support) transport for the municipality of Zwolle for the next four years. Munckhof will coordinate the transport and RM Taxi Zwolle will carry it out. The contract enters into force on 1 July 2014. 

Collaboration with RM Taxi Zwolle

Munckhof regularly enters into such regional collaborations. 'We are proud to coordinate the social support transport for the municipality of Zwolle,' explains Jos Poortinga, director of Munckhof Taxi. 'It is in keeping with the Munckhof strategy of working with local partners, in this case RM Taxi Zwolle. This will provide increased flexibility for our client and allow us to draw on the knowledge and expertise of regional carriers.' Robert Meijberg, director of RM Taxi Zwolle agrees. Social support transport 

Social support transport - transport provided under the Social Support Act (WMO) - aims to help people with a disability participate fully in society. The municipality offers transportation to people who would normally be encounter mobility obstacles. Part of these transport facilities includes taxi transport provided by Munckhof and RM Taxi Zwolle. Munckhof also coordinates the social support transport for other Dutch municipalities.
