Munckhof once again named Best Managed Company

Munckhof has been named a Best Managed Company in the Netherlands for the seventh year in a row. This year's award also comes with an added bonus: Munckhof has now joined the select group of eight Dutch companies in the highest ‘platinum’ category.

Positive assessment

Deloitte conducts an independent assessment to determine which companies are Best Managed. This assessment focuses on several areas: Strategy and Policymaking, Organization and Processes, Management and Control, Information Technology and People and Culture. Tom Roefs, CEO at Munckhof, explains, ‘The judging panel were especially impressed with our ability to analyse and modify our vision and strategy within the various business processes. This ability also comes into play in the choices we make in terms of staff and organization and the performance indicators we use.’

Personalized reports

Supplying customized data to clients is a major development at Munckhof. Roefs continues, ‘Drafting personalized reports for clients is nothing new for us. However, the way we then elaborate on these reports stood out as a positive in the assessment. As part of our international corporate travel services, for instance, we also report the CO2 emissions and how these can be managed.’

Extremely proud of our place in the platinum category

Roefs continues, ‘Of course, I am extremely proud that we are once again a Best Managed Company. However, what's really special is that we are now part of the select group of companies in the platinum category. We see this as a confirmation of the whole team's good work over all these years.’

About the Best Managed Companies awards programme

As part of its search for the best-managed SMEs in the Netherlands, Deloitte assesses strategy, operational management, the ability to innovate and the financial results of the participating companies on the basis of the Business Maturity Model, developed in collaboration with Utrecht University. The Best Managed Companies awards programme focuses on Dutch companies that have a turnover of at least 25 million euros, that are financially healthy and that have a shareholder or independently authorized management.
