About Lunet

Lunet supports children and (young) adults with care needs, such as intellectual disabilities, behavioral problems, and developmental delays. The organization helps them to function as independently as possible and find their rightful place in society. Munckhof has been working with Lunet since 2014 and provides transportation for nearly 500 clients to around 45 day care locations in the Eindhoven and Kempen regions.

Pleasant cooperation and short lines of communication

Heidi Neggers is Transport Coordinator at Lunet and acts as the link between her colleagues who work at residential locations or day care centers and Munckhof. She looks back on a long-term collaboration in which good communication and solution-oriented thinking are central. "I find it a very pleasant collaboration. We are in contact almost daily, by email or telephone. I like that the lines of communication are short and that we can be honest about what we think and how we see things. If something is going on, Munckhof lets us know immediately, so that issues don't linger," says Heidi.

Always ready to contribute solution-oriented ideas

Heidi particularly appreciates Munckhof's proactive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas when devising solutions that work for both parties. Because a fixed transport structure is important for many clients, Munckhof works with fixed routes and drivers. If changes are necessary, these are discussed in consultation with Lunet. Heidi emphasizes: “If something changes, I often ask my colleagues on the floor what would be best for the clients, and with that information, Munckhof can look for a solution that works for both parties. Mutual understanding and cooperation enable us to find the best solution.”

Commitment to every client

What Heidi also finds special is that Munckhof is willing to contribute ideas in complex situations. She cites the example of a child who has extreme separation anxiety and needs to be transported separately. “Even then, Munckhof is willing to contribute ideas in multidisciplinary discussions. These are discussions with parents, caregivers, and care specialists. Yes, I find that very valuable,” says Heidi.

The collaboration between Lunet and Munckhof is characterized by trust, clear communication, and shared responsibility. Heidi sums it up nicely: “Together, we look at what is possible and find solutions that are in the best interests of our clients. That is the power of our collaboration.”
