About Evean

Evean provides care and support across a large part of North Holland, namely in the northern part of North Holland, Zaanstreek/Waterland, and Amsterdam. They help with (specialized) nursing, care, and home care, geriatric rehabilitation care, occupational therapy, physical therapy, exercise therapy, home guidance, day care, and assisted living. Evean is part of Espria, a network of healthcare organizations. Together, they work on healthcare for the future: the health of people in a caring society.

Munckhof has been a transport partner since 2018

Munckhof transports people with dementia, psychiatric disorders, or acquired brain injury (ABI) to day care centers. Evean has a total of fourteen day care centers, four of which are walk-in centers that people can visit on their own. Day care takes place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Annelies Koster, day care coordinator, says: "When we chose Munckhof in 2018, we were able to get started very quickly, which we found very pleasant. A Munckhof employee visited the various locations at the time to explain how Munckhof's systems work and to answer questions. This was also greatly appreciated."

She continues: “Transportation runs smoothly at the vast majority of these day care locations. At some locations, it can occasionally be a challenge to keep everything running smoothly. I must admit that Munckhof really does its best to schedule regular drivers at the locations, which is ideal, especially for our target group.”

Contact with Munckhof

When asked how contact with Munckhof generally goes, Annelies says: "Our employees most often contact Munckhof's management department by phone or email. As long as everything is going well, I generally don't hear anything. I only get involved when things aren't going well. At that point, I contact the account manager directly. She has been with Munckhof for a long time and is very familiar with the situation at Evean. In almost all cases, the issue is resolved quickly. What I also like about Munckhof is that they are willing to apologize or send flowers when things don't go well." Annelies continues: “The contact between the employees and the drivers is generally good, and we always invite them to come in for a cup of coffee if they have time.”
