ASML Marathon Eindhoven 2024

Providing important transport

On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October 2024, Munckhof provided important transport for the 40th edition of the ASML Marathon in Eindhoven. Munckhof deployed 13 taxi buses to transport Red Cross employees along the route and to pick up participants who had dropped out. The drivers were thoroughly briefed in the days leading up to the event and were in constant contact with the organization via mobile radios during the marathon itself. The organization, the Red Cross, and Munckhof all look back on a successful event.

After the event, Munckhof received the following praise from Marco Derksen, Transport Coordinator for the Eindhoven Marathon: “The day went well, and we had little need to make adjustments thanks to the clear division of tasks. I hope to work with Munckhof more often during future events.”

About the Eindhoven Marathon

The Eindhoven Marathon is the largest sporting event in North Brabant and is supported by the people of Eindhoven, the municipality, hundreds of volunteers, and, of course, the runners. The event took the runners past all the city's highlights, such as: Philips Stadium, Strijp-S, Evoluon, and the High Tech Campus. A total of almost 40,000 participants took part, and this year, money was once again raised for charity, namely for KWF Cancer Relief.

The Eindhoven Marathon will take place on October 11 and 12, 2025. Munckhof hopes to contribute to the success of this next edition as well.
