VVV-Venlo and Munckhof have built up a long-standing and successful partnership based on mutual trust. Jort Raemakers, Operations Manager at VVV-Venlo, talks about the valuable role Munckhof plays in transporting the club's teams and supporters.
Trust and reliability on the road
“When you work with a club like VVV, everything is about timing and reliability,” says Jort. “Munckhof understands that better than anyone.” Munckhof provides transport for VVV’s first team, youth teams under 19 and 21, and the fan club ‘D'n Twellefde Man’. “The teams really travel all over the country, from Leeuwarden to Maastricht, and Munckhof is always there to make sure these trips go smoothly. From loading the bus to arriving on time for away games, Munckhof takes care of all the transportation, which is essential for the club,” says Jort.
Always one step ahead
What makes the collaboration between VVV and Munckhof so strong is Munckhof's ability to always think one step ahead. “I recently received a phone call from our contact at Munckhof, who said: ‘Hey, you have this match coming up soon, right? Shall we schedule the bus in advance?’. They are often prepared for what we need before we even realize it ourselves,” says Jort. “Whether it's planning the departure time or dealing with unforeseen circumstances along the way, Munckhof is always flexible and ensures that we achieve our goals. Munckhof's drivers play an important role in this: by thinking along with us and even helping to load the bus, a bond is created between the team and the drivers.”
The bus: more than just transportation
“The VVV team bus is a perfect example of how Munckhof delivers customized solutions,” says Jort. "It is fully equipped according to the club's wishes, including power points, coffee machines, seating, and space to heat up meals. The bus plays an important role in the team's performance, as it enables the team to prepare optimally for matches. It is therefore important that all the facilities in the bus work properly,“ says Jort, ”and that is always the case with Munckhof."
Social involvement
The collaboration between VVV-Venlo and Munckhof is not only based on mutual trust and customization, but also on social involvement in the region.
