Munckhof Joins the United Nations Global Compact

Munckhof has recently joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Together with its sister company Hansea and parent company InfraMobility, Munckhof is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices.

Alongside more than 20,000 companies across 160 countries, Munckhof, Hansea, and InfraMobility are working toward a better and more sustainable world.

Global principles, locally applied

The UN Global Compact is a United Nations initiative that calls on companies to align their policies with ten universally accepted principles. These principles cover human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption. In addition, participating organizations actively contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Progress is monitored through transparent annual reporting.

Sustainability as a strategic pillar

Hans van Dam, Group Sustainability Manager at InfraMobility, sees the membership of Munckhof, Hansea, and InfraMobility as a step in the right direction:
“Sustainability is a structural part of our strategy—not only in the mobility services we offer but also in the way we operate as an organization. Joining the UN Global Compact fits perfectly with this approach and confirms our commitment to an open, fair, and future-oriented economy.”
