Munckhof Expands School Transport in the South Holland Region

Munckhof has recently won the tender for two new lots in the school transport sector in the South Holland region. These are Lot 1 and Lot 7 within the tender of the municipalities of Delft, Midden-Delfland, Pijnacker-Nootdorp, Rijswijk, and Westland. Service will commence on 1 August 2025.

Transport to Rotterdam, Noordwijk, and Surrounding Areas

Lot 1 covers the transport of approximately 60 students from the participating municipalities to Rotterdam and surrounding areas. Lot 7 involves the transport of around 13 students to Noordwijk, Oegstgeest, and nearby towns. Both lots have a two-year term, running until 31 July 2027, with the option to extend for another two years.

Quality Made the Difference

The tender consisted of five lots and was part of a larger assignment of a total of eleven lots. Since 2020, Munckhof has already been providing transport to SBO de Diamant in the Westland area and will continue to do so. In this new award, Munckhof only bid for Lot 1 and Lot 7, achieving the highest score in the assessment for best price-quality ratio. The recruitment plan and the staff retention plan were particularly praised.

Strengthening Regional Presence

With this expansion, Munckhof strengthens its position in the region. Earlier, Munckhof acquired BAB-VIOS Touringcars in Wateringen, located right in the heart of the service area. In recent months, several other transport contracts in the region have also been awarded to Munckhof.

Proud of the Trust Placed in Us

Arjan Wiering, Managing Director at Munckhof, is pleased with the expansion of the company’s assignments for the mentioned municipalities:
“This expansion means a great deal to us. It confirms that our approach, focusing on quality and personnel policy, truly makes a difference. We are proud to have earned the trust of these municipalities to handle the additional lots as well. Thanks to our strong presence in the region, we can operate efficiently and with genuine commitment.”
