Arjan Wiering (44) has been appointed Managing Director of Munckhof Groep BV. He will take over the day-to-day management from Tom Roefs (58). Roefs will become vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of InfraMobility NV in Antwerp, the parent company of Munckhof and Hansea.

International cooperation

Munckhof was acquired by the Belgian company Hansea in 2022. The interests of both organizations are brought together in the Belgian company InfraMobility. Since the takeover, the collaboration has already made significant progress in areas such as finance and HR. A number of changes are needed in the management team for the next phase. Tom Roefs has therefore been appointed vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of InfraMobility. Together with the current chairman Bernard Gustin, he will be responsible for rolling out the InfraMobility strategy. Important focus areas are commerce, asset management, procurement, and ESG.

In line with strategy

The final responsibility at Munckhof will be transferred to Arjan Wiering. Arjan Wiering has been COO at Munckhof since April 2023 and, in that capacity, is responsible for all Passenger Transport activities. He is now making the move to Managing Director. Tom Roefs says: “This development fits seamlessly into our strategy. I am extremely proud of Munckhof today. I am convinced that Arjan, together with Chief Financial Officer Patrick Straetemans and the Senior Management Team, will continue to develop the organization. In my new role at InfraMobility, I will of course remain closely involved with Munckhof!”
